Uniformed Adult Leaders

We are always looking for uniformed adult leaders to join our team. There are two ways to join as an adult leader: uniformed staff and auxiliary staff. Uniformed staff usually take on regular roles and responsibilities within the unit, whereas auxiliary staff are flexible and provide additional support when needed.

 Basic Requirements: 

  • Application — Must complete an online application, as well as complete medical history information.
  • Citizenship — Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  • Background Check – Must pass a background check, including fingerprinting, for working with youth.
  • Commitment – Must be willing to support the program, with full officers expected to meat the same 75% commitment as cadets, though auxiliary officers typically have more flexibility.
  • Training – Must complete Darkness to Light courses every year.
  • Uniform — Eligible to wear the military-style uniform after completing one full year.

The enrollment fee for adult leaders is $45.00. Please reach out to the recruiting officer, ENS Lisa Anderson, with interest in joining, and she will send you an email link to apply.

Special Guests

Do you have a special talent or skill you’d like to share? Each month we try to provide our cadets with unique training opportunities to introduce them to jobs and skills they would encounter in the military. We are always looking for law enforcement, firefighting, aviation, and other specialties to allow our cadets to experience meaningful and engaging experiences to prepare them for life and public service.

Twin Cities Squadron Parent Association

We are committee comprised of parents and guardians of our cadets as well as the Commanding Officer. The TCSPA is responsible for planning and coordinating activities to support the squadron including squadron lunches, annual ball and silent auction, spaghetti dinner fundraisers, and more. 

The squadron relies on parent volunteers and we appreciate any involvement that you can offer. Expect emails with squadron event details and options to sign-up to volunteer.
