Twin Cities Squadron: Leadership, Service, and Opportunity
Welcome to Twin Cities Squadron, the largest U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps unit in the five-state region! Based at the Arden Hills Army Training Site (AHATS), we drill one weekend a month. Our structured and engaging environment helps young men and women develop leadership skills, discipline, and a strong commitment to service.
Our unit includes roughly 40 cadets and 12 dedicated adult leaders, all working together to create meaningful training experiences. Cadets can attend specialized training across the country, including STEM, aviation, seamanship, and leadership courses. Meanwhile, our adult leaders—many with military backgrounds—design hands-on training that introduces cadets to career paths in the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and beyond.
In addition to training, Twin Cities Squadron takes great pride in serving the local community. Cadets actively participate in service projects throughout the Twin Cities, reinforcing values like citizenship, teamwork, and giving back. Whether preparing for future careers, building lifelong friendships, or making a difference, cadets gain an unparalleled experience at Twin Cities Squadron.

About the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps
The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC) is a premier youth leadership program for ages 10 through 17. It instills honor, discipline, and a commitment to service. Sponsored by the Navy League of the United States and supported by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, this nationally recognized program provides cadets with unique, real-world military training. With 380 units across the country, the Sea Cadets offer a structured environment where young leaders build confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of duty.
Cadets can explore a wide range of training opportunities, including scuba diving, medical training, photojournalism, military police, STEM, and sailing. These hands-on experiences help cadets develop valuable skills while learning to lead their peers. As a result, they gain the confidence and discipline needed for success in both military and civilian careers. Whether they choose to serve in the armed forces or follow another path, Sea Cadets graduate with the leadership and work ethic to excel in any field.
